Monroe Overhead Doors is a local, family-owned company that installs and repairs residential, commercial and industrial overhead doors and gate operators. We work out of our shop at 315 Horseshoe Lake Road in Monroe and have served Northeast Louisiana for more than 20 years.
Our team runs from the office to our certified master technician, and people stay: one longtime team member spent more than forty years with us. Customers know our techs by name, and they tell us so in their reviews.

How do I know if my spring is broken?
Common signs: a loud bang from the garage, a door that suddenly feels very heavy or only lifts a few inches, an opener that strains or stops, or a visible gap in the spring above the door. If you think a spring is broken, don't try to force the door open or adjust the spring yourself. Springs are under a lot of tension. Call us and we'll take care of it safely.
Should I repair or replace my door?
Most problems, like springs, cables, rollers and openers, are repairs. Replacement makes sense when panels are badly damaged or rotted, the door is very old, or you want a new look or better insulation. We'll tell you plainly which one you need and only replace what's needed.
